"Home is where the heart is". The conceptualization of this piece was more of a revelation. Michigan residents are passionate people full of pride for their birth ground. The soil we literally stand on is full of the best stuff on earth. We are weathered by amazing seasons that test wits and relieve tensions. There is a reason our beautiful state has a resemblance to an anatomical heart, we are the center of the universe and we are humble about it. We have every resource on our home soil to naturally survive and smile about it. This image is a staple to where our heart is. This is a pride piece.
